FAQ

Q. How do I know if I can wear lashes?
A. A client consultation is required to determine if you can wear the lashes. If you have had any history of eye disease or eye condition, injury, surgery, allergies to dermabond, or nail adhesives, you may not be able to wear the lashes. Your lash specialist will be able advise you and answer any additional questions.

Q. What do I need to do prior to my lash appointment?
A. A client should remove all makeup at home prior to the appointment. If you are a contact lens wearer, they must be removed prior to the application process. Do not schedule facial chemical peels or resurfacing prior to the appointment.

Q. How do I take care of my lashes?
A. We recommned that you avoid water or steam near the lashes during the first 48 hours. This will give time for the adhesive to bond. After 48 hours you can resume your normal activities such as swimming or the spa. Avoid any creams or oil-based products near or around the eye area while wearing lashes such as eye creams. These products may cause premature shedding of the lashes applied. Avoid wearing waterproof mascara. Water-based mascara applied only to the tips of the lashes may be worn. However mascara is not needed while wearing the lashes.

Q. How will long with the lashes last?
A. By following the Aftercare maintenance, your lashes will last 2-4 weeks. The cycle for natural lashes is approximately 60 - 90 days before they will shed. Each natural lash is at a different point in its cycle. Everyone sheds 1 - 5 natural lashes a day. Therefore, we suggest that clients follow-up with a re-lash appointment every 2-4 weeks.
